About This Site

A person who leaves the Wexford County Jail may not appear on a public jail page, and Wexford does not publish an official released-inmate archive. This private reference brings together the local jail-record path, Michigan corrections search, court records, MI-VINE notifications, and post-release supervision sources. The aim is to make each custody system easier to distinguish after a release or transfer.

Why This Resource Exists

Michigan release information is spread across agencies. The Wexford County Sheriff maintains jail-created booking and release records, but its official site has no public roster or recent-release feed. The Michigan Department of Corrections runs OTIS for prisoners, parolees, qualifying probationers, and people still within the public post-discharge window. Wexford court files can show the order behind bond, dismissal, sentencing, jail credit, probation, or commitment to MDOC. Federal custody is tracked separately through the Bureau of Prisons and related federal offices. This site organizes those different records, lookup routes, and request steps without treating one system as a substitute for another.

What We Bring Together

The pages are arranged around the questions that arise when someone is no longer shown in the last known custody system.

  • The home page provides the full named-person search path and explains how to request an existing Wexford release record.
  • Separate resources cover a projected release, a VINELink inmate search, and probation and parole.
  • Facility pages distinguish the Wexford County Jail from the statewide Michigan Department of Corrections system and identify official addresses, phone contacts, and visitor guidance where published.
  • Records guidance explains how to identify a booking, request a release entry or booking photograph, and understand Michigan FOIA response timing.

Our Role Has Limits

Wexford County Released Inmates is privately operated. It has no connection to Wexford County, the sheriff, the jail, MDOC, the courts, or any other local, state, or federal government body.

  • We cannot release, detain, move, or confirm the custody status of any person.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, deposit funds, or obtain an official record for a visitor.
  • We cannot give legal advice or interpret a court order for a specific case.
  • We cannot promise that an agency address, phone number, office hour, or fee has not changed.

Only the office that created or maintains a record can confirm current custody, charges, a release event, or a transfer.

Search Partner Disclosure
