This is a private reference site, not a Wexford County or Michigan government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking or release record. Contact the agency that holds the record.
Choose the Record Holder
Wexford release questions often involve more than one office. The jail can address a current departure, the courts hold the order behind it, and MDOC handles state-prison or qualifying community-supervision records.

Statewide Michigan Contacts
Michigan Parole Board: 517-373-0270, Parole-Board-Staff@michigan.gov
MDOC Crime Victim Services: 877-886-5401
MI-VINE: 800-770-7657, TTY 866-847-1298
The Parole Board contact is for Board process questions. Crime Victim Services provides added state-prison notification support, while MI-VINE supplies specific-person custody alerts.
Use the route that matches the last known custody and the record needed:
- For a named Wexford release or historical release record, begin with the home search and records path.
- For community supervision, use OTIS first, then the Wexford MDOC office when the profile points there.
- For someone thought to have left the jail recently, call the jail and check MI-VINE because Wexford publishes no official 24-hour or 72-hour feed.
- For a projected state-prison date, use OTIS; for a county-jail sentence, ask the jail and read the signed court sentence.
- For a Wexford County Jail record, contact the sheriff; for an MDOC record, use the statewide corrections system.
- For a federal or immigration case, use the Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Marshals, or ICE source that holds the person.
