Terms Entered in Search Tools
When a visitor enters a name, place, or other term in a partner-powered search box, the query is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. Wexford County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Emails and Other Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. Message content is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data From Visits
Routine web systems may record basic technical details when a page loads. This information helps operate the site and understand broad usage patterns.

Links may lead to Wexford County records pages, the sheriff, Michigan corrections services, court portals, federal locators, and outside search providers. Once you follow a link, the destination's privacy rules govern its collection and use of data. Government record access may also be governed by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 through 15.246, and other laws that apply to the record holder.
Some advertising companies may use their own technology to follow activity across websites and select interest-based ads. That processing takes place on the partner's systems, not on systems controlled by this site.
