Purpose of the Site

This is a private reference resource with no government authority. It does not store official jail, release, corrections, or court records. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or submit documents to an agency.

The site points visitors toward Wexford County Jail records, Michigan corrections sources, court records, MI-VINE, and outside research tools. Those sources remain responsible for their own records and services.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use of the site must remain lawful and must not harm people, systems, or other visitors.

• Do not use the site in violation of any law.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten a person.
• Do not rely on site content for employment, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
• Do not seek access to accounts, files, or systems without authorization.
• Do not operate automated bots, scrapers, or bulk extraction tools.
• Do not interfere with the site's availability or another visitor's access.

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited

Wexford County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising partners do not provide screening services through this site. By using these pages, you agree that site information and linked results will not be used for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions
• Tenant selection, rental approval, or housing screening
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance rates
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit
• Any other decision regulated by the FCRA

Independent Websites and Tools

Links may lead to jail and release-record sources, the sheriff, Michigan corrections systems, government portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, terms, security, or availability. Review its rules before submitting information or using its services.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are offered "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty, express or implied, about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or present currency of information
• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• Freedom from errors, bugs, or security weaknesses
• The scope or completeness of an outside provider's search results

Custody status, release information, court entries, fees, and office details can change. Nothing on this site is an official statement from Wexford County, the sheriff, MDOC, a court, or another government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wexford County Released Inmates and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access to, use of, or inability to use this site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, the original text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Wexford County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without prior written permission.

Revisions Take Effect When Posted

We may revise these terms at any time. Updated terms become effective when the new version appears on this page, and continued use after posting means the revised terms apply.

Access May Be Withdrawn

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to any part of the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Michigan Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court located within Michigan. Access to Wexford government records is separately subject to the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 through 15.246, court-access rules, and other applicable law.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
